Good morning and thank you.
Yesterday was simple and nice.
Work was okay. And I so needed that nap you allowed me to take before bible study. I didn't however need those brownies. BUT thank you so much. They were so yummy. I just love Costco and all the choices that they have, but thank you for giving me a balance and a heart to share all those goodies with my mom and daughter.
Thank you for a place to worship YOU! I'm so gratful for our bible study. I just love being a student of your word and sitting under the preaching and teaching of Pastor Wagner and Mrs. Diana.
They will be retiring soon and I will be both sad and happy. But, as I've grown in my faith and drawn so much closer to you, I trust and believe that our new Pastor will be just as awesome, god-fearing and encouraging to our members and surrounding community.
We cannot attach ourselves to one thing or person believing that it's the "best" thing that has ever happened, because YOU Father, you are the best thing that has ever happened!
Thank you so very much for the gift of hearing. As we were finishing up with some funny conversations with Pastor Bob about the adult's ability to listen, I was only half listening as he spoke to myself, Gina and Bob because the other half of my attention was drawn to John and the choir rehearsal. It was amazing. I heard "Here I Am To Worship...." and ran in that direction.
I sat on the top floor of the sanctuary and praised and listened and meditated as if it were Sunday. It was beyond delightful.
Thank you. I love my church and I'm so grateful to you as you know how making a choice to leave my old church was a very difficult decision back then.
Thank you for Tuesday' grace as I dropped some stuff off to my mom it was such a joy to see her out front talking with her friend. I remember how she initially did not want to move to a senior resident and now, she is as happy as a kid in Toys R Us. Lol
You did something very similar for my dad and again, I say, "Thank You!"
One more thank you. I know that I don't get to see the kids as often as I'd like and I know that technology has taken over face to face conversationsin the homes of many families, but I am grateful that the kids text me and that we get to share your word and our love through the device that some consider "screen time." We love one another and we do get to physically hug and connect, but when we can't I'm so very grateful for that screen time!
Eternally yours
