This blog title is because You used Sheri to minister to me when I really needed it. She became my friend when Alice Nicholson gifted me with the book, "His Princess Bride" in the fall of 2011. That's when I pledged my heart to you.
Father be her great and mighty physician and bring healing. You're the only One who can. In Jesus' precious name, amen.
Quiet tears fell after receiving the below email:
Dear friends of Sheri Rose,
Since you have been a part of Sheri Rose's online ministry on Bible Gateway, our team felt that you might want to know that she is fighting for her life right now in a battle against cancer that has gotten very aggressive and is spreading fast.
Her heart's desire is to continue to minister to all of us, regardless of the state of her health.
However, her doctors are saying she's going to need to take a sabbatical to receive urgent treatment and have a chance to beat this cancer so that she can, Lord willing, heal and regain her strength.
To be honest, at this point the treatment and recovery journey ahead appears impossible for her financially, in part because she is a single mom who is solely responsible for taking care of her teenage daughter and elderly mother.
