Never Enough Time

My Lord,

I love you and I thank you.  Oftentimes I am swept away by being "completely alone" with you and I feel so selfish.  I know that I cannot spread the Good NEWS if I stay inside my "comfort zone!"

I love to bask in Your Glory and feel the sun on me and to feel the Son on me.  Yesterday was one of those days.  I had the tv on and I heard the "actor" say that when he was in prison, he waited and waited for the sun.  He did not have a window and he never got the chance to see the sun.

I turned the tv off and grabbed my journal, pen and chair.  I sat on the landing and wrote You a poem.  I sat in the sun and in the presence of Your Son and I was hot.  I was very present in the moment and it was hot.  I enjoyed it as the sweat beads dripped down my face and body.  We oftentimes complain about the heat but we also take it for granted.  I cannot imagine being in prison or anywhere else where the sun is not my constant companion.  I simply cannot imagine a life without the SON!

Father, there is never enough time to praise YOU and to thank YOU!  You are so good to me and I have journals, diary entries, notes and blogs to record and reflect on Your goodness but still, there is not and will never be enough time to say, "Thank You."

I was reading over some of my letters that I'd written to You thanking You for both answered and unanswered prayers.  YOU are so faithful!  I have not always been but I Thank YOU and PRAISE YOU that You are!

Thank You for the sweet fellowship that I had with Jackie Smith, Mother Williams, T and the girls on my 51st #Birthday.
Thank You for the birthday gifts that I received.
Thank You for the 3 year anniversary with Carol, Caroline, Dixie, Hope and Minnie.  It was 3 years ago that we took a journey with In Touch Ministries to Alaska to meet with YOU.  It was there that I saw the vast and magnificence of YOUR precious landscape.  You #still wow me with your artwork.

I have a thousand plus photos and videos of YOU ranging from rainbows, sunsets, sunrises, butterflies, flowers, trees, clouds, mountains, birds, lightening and so much more.  Romans 1:20 is so very #true!

I Thank You  for gifting me with the ability to be still and write poetry.  I can stay away and then come write back to immediately penning a poem with very little effort.  I love that I cannot cook but that YOU allowed me to publish books.  YOU know I still have books inside of me and that I am not finished telling others about Your goodness in my life and how they can have the same JESUS JOY!

You have given me so many testimonies and I want to share as many as I can as often as I can so that someone will know that YOU are a GOD who turns ashes into beauty.  You restore brokenness and YOU Father, You can restore a woman's virtue and dignity.

YOU can make a lonely, insecure, vulnerable, uneducated, blue collared worker feel like she's the most prettiest, smartest, wealthiest and LOVED woman in the entire Universe!  Yes, that's what YOU did for me and that's why my #ginormous smile lights up the world!  No more shame.  No more pain and no more guilt.  No more believing all the lies that I created inside my head and no more being influenced by the Devil who is the father or lies and the enemy of our souls.

Thank You for church today which was so freaking #awesome.  We were on fire this morning and we sang, "Soul On Fire!"  Father we love You so much and we are not only thirsty, but we are willing.  We await Your instructions and we are going to make YOU proud.  Thank You for the book of Revelation which blesses those who hear it and those who read it.  But the #BIG Thank You is that Your Word tells us that YOU have defeated death and WE HAVE THE VICTORY!

We are not waiting for the victory, we already have it!  YES and AMEN!!!!!

Father thank You for #listening to so many of my prayers over the past couple of weeks.  Many are lost, hurt, wounded, sick, confused, sad, depressed, longing, waiting, anxious, uncertain, unemployed, homeless, angry, and so much more and we are praying my Lord.  Your #saints are praying and we will not stop!

Thank You for Your grace and protection on Thursday.  I prayed a special prayer after reading the Book of James and Your grace was there.  It was a really nice time spent in fellowship.  It was filled with laughter and compassion.  You are a God who not only knows but a God who cares.  Father, please continue to have Your way in our lives.  In every area of our lives, we #need You.  I cannot do this life on my own and I cannot make wise decisions without the help and guidance of Your Holy Spirit.  I simply can't.

A special Thank You for yesterday's girl's day.  It was so much fun and so long overdue.  Melanie and Kara and I walked in downtown Annapolis and then we had a yummy lunch at Ms. Shirley's.  It was #great!  We gave You all the glory!

Father YOU are still at work and I love that I don't have to fear my tomorrow's because not only do You know what lies ahead, but YOU go before me preparing a way and making it safe!

All my love...all the time <3

Eternally yours
