My Lord,
#Sometimes I still cannot believe I'm a Christian.
I am a Christ follower and I would not change a thing about my journey because every step, every tear and every decision from my past led me here.
Yesterday was such a glorious day. It was quiet at work, pause: THANK YOU!
It was very sunny and still quite cold, but still glorious!
Father, I'm still energized not only because you love me, but also because you allowed me to see Beth Moore and Chris Tomlin. You also blessed my daughter with the concert. She was so full and I was so happy to have shared it with her. Also, we got the chance to fellowship to and from the event. I ask that you continue to cover her with your presence, favor and protection.
Father there are many children that I'm praying for and I also ask that you be with their mommies too. It's difficult for us to release our children into your care, but Lord, we are trying. We do trust you and I pray that you don't see our worry and concern as a lack of faith on what YOU can do, but see that we are still in the flesh and still being overprotective/overbearing momma bears :-)
Lord, thank you for my mid afternoon naps. They are crucial to me. You driven my car home on countless occasions and I know that You care about my safety. I thank you so, so much for being my guide.
And now, for the grand finale'........................We had a church vote on the new Pastor for Grace Brethren of Calvert and it was so exciting. The air was energized and filled with LOVE and YOUR Spirit. It was one of the most incredible feelings I've ever felt. My vote counted.
We prayed as a church and we were in agreement with your chosen servants; Mr. and Mrs. Dario Agnolutto. Yes Father, my sweet friend Susie is going to be our First Lady.
Lord, please cover, protect, guide, and use them to continue the work you've done at Grace and in Calvert County. Father, please help us to accept and embrace change. Help us collectively to shine for you and for our neighboring communities. We have such a passion for you and we have room in our House of Worship for more members. We want to bring in those who are hungry, lost, sad, longing and unaware that YOU are that void. You are "their need" and You are their Savior too!
Father, when I think about your goodness, it still overwhelms me. I cannot thank you enough for bringing me to Calvert County. You knew exactly what I needed and you still know what I need. I am so grateful that YOU took my life and my heart and chose to set me apart for intimacy and fellowship with YOU! I'm so in love with you and I'm so in love with the way that YOU LOVE ME!
Father, I never want to move ahead without You! Please hold my hand and hold me accountable!
I was listening to a link by Kim Walker Smith and her testimony is similar to mine. She is so in love with you also. She talked about how she came to love you. She said that she was good at singing and was wondering how she could use that gift. You spoke to her spirit and told her to spend time with You first.
You told her to #focus on worshipping YOU and then the gift would magnify you on its own. And, that's exactly what happened. She now sings: Holy Spirit You Are Welcome Here!!!!!!!!!!!!
I used to wonder that too. I am good at writing and I kept wondering how could I use that gift. I was writing since seventh grade and I was wondering how you were going to take my meek and introverted personality and use it for good. And WOW, YOU did the same thing to me. As I focused on You, as I purposed my heart to seek YOU and your amazing and unconditional love for me, my poetry, stories and blogs pointed directly to YOU. I have been blogging since 2008, shortly after my #Salvation, and I have to #believe that at least one lost soul happened upon one of my blogs and wondered who was the JESUS I kept bragging on!! :-)
My LORD, YOUR great love fuels me and all that I say and do should point to you, and not because you gifted me to write and to take awesome photos of the sky, but because you simply loved me first!
I am almost 7 in my spiritual birth and I am so on fire inside my heart for you. It is my prayer that when I'm 70 and beyond, I'll be just as passionate!
You are MY #everything! I long to worship You!
