My Lord,
Thank you for a great weekend. I had the priviledge of helping someone very dear to my heart on Friday. And then, on Saturday, I had the priviledge of attending Arlean's 90th Birthday party. It was so awesome to see her joy and to feel all that love in the room. She loves you Father and I'm so glad that I do too, or I would have missed the opportunity to share in her celebration!
Thank you that Carrie went with me to hear our sweet Lauren sing. I love you so much for what you've done in her life and in our lives. I remember the young girl who used to work at Sweet Sue's and I see the godly young woman that she has become. She loves you and her songs and praises expressed that to the soul.
I wept as I stood there in the presence of the Holy Spirit and heard the outpouring of a humble servant. It was incredible. I still cannot believe how you changed us both. We love you and our union was not happenstance at all. I remember many years ago when I first heard the name Lauren, I completely fell in love with the name. I remember saying to myself that if I ever had another "daughter" that I would name her Lauren. YOU so gifted me with something so much better. You gave me a sister in Christ and a forever friend named Lauren.
Thank you that the Chesapeak Church also holds services on Saturday. It was such an overwhelming feeling to experience YOUR presence in the praise and worship service yesterday. The music and the pastor was awesome. It was so uplifting and I could have stayed all night. Thank you for the serendipity moments again and again. I saw Anna Royer and Susan from the Restore. I met Kimberly, (my facebook sister) and I met a beautiful spirit named Anna who also likes to hug. She took me by the hand and introduced me to countless people. I also met Lauren's friend, Lori. NOTHING BUT LOVE!!!
I love how the pastor's sermon from yesterday and our sermon this morning from Pastor Dario were in alignment with one another. Father, we are on a MISSION from YOU and we need to get busy. We need to set aside, lay down and loosen the grip on anything that is not pleasing to you and anything that is distracting us from fulfilling our gift and our calling.
THE world is already opposed to our beliefs and we need not blend in and get trapped or tripped up by the subtleties of the enemy. It is so easy to step off the path and go in another direction.
WE MUST SEEK YOU DAILY. WE MUST THIRST FOR THE WORD. WE MUST PRAY WITH STEADFAST FERVOR and WE MUST LOVE THOSE WHO ARE UNLOVABLE! We have got to be the LIGHT and we have got to be the CHURCH outside of the church!
WE have got to spread the Good News because people are hurting, lost and feeling hopeless. Hell is for real. Suicides are occurring and people are dying because they just don't see a way out. Many are just exisiting and are barely living at all. There are even Christians who know "John 10:10" and still are not experiencing it.
Father help us to LIVE out our FAITH and help us to #believe in the what we read and not just gloss over YOUR WORD as a duty, chore or something on our to-do list.
HELP your chosen children to put their HOPE in your return and to see that WITH YOU, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!
Help those who are still seeking the approval and acceptance of man. Help each individual see that YOU are the ONLY ONE who forgives sins, accepts us where we are and loves us in spite of ourselves.
We don't have to have a college degree. We don't have to have a sign on our office door with a special "title." We don't have to have a certain figure in our bank account. We don't have to have a clean house, loose weight or even be a so called "perfect" family. ALL we have to do is believe and acknoweldge that you died on the cross for us. All we have to do is ask you to forgive us for our sins, come into our hearts and be our LORD! We don't have to make a public announcement and we don't have to go to "a church" to confess. I invited you into my house and into my life while sitting in my chair in my family room in Waldorf, Maryland. It was a beautiful sunny day and on the gorgeous day, YOU CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!! <3
At the age of 42, YOU adopted me! I became your precious daughter!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pastor Wagner said today as we #celebrated communion that once we come into the family of God we are your adopted children. We have been chosen, we have been changed, we have been cleansed, and we have communion with you! We have #direct access to you and we don't have to see the High Priest. I am your friend and we can talk as often or as little as I want.
SO HAPPY THAT I GET TO TALK TO YOU EVERYDAY!!!!!!!!!!
I am even happier that you don't get tired of hearing from me! I don't what I'd do if I had to make an appoitment! Lol
JESUS, thank you for all those amazing sun-rise and sunset photos. You have been showing off lately and I love it! Jesus, YOU ARE LORD! This is not the life I had planned for myself and YOUR PRESENCE is welcomed wherever I go! I cannot and I won't do this life on my own. It just won't work!!!!!!
I love you!
Eternally yours
