Sexual Desires

My Lord,

You know that I have a heart and a passion for women and young girls concerning their purity. No one ever told me how precious my body was how much worth I had in me, or the fact that I could simply say no to the opposite sex. I did not know that I was to save my secret treasure, my priceless gift and virtue for my future husband on our sacred wedding night.

My heart simply aches for the woman or young girl who still does not know her self worth in Christ Jesus.

Today, I was compelled to send the below email to many of my friends and coworkers. I pray Father, that you will protect them, cover them and provide wisdom and guidance as the enemy is doing the complete opposite.

Here is what I sent:

Sisters, this is a message from the Holy Spirit and not me.

The movie, Fifty Shades of Grey is coming out to compliment the book that has been circulated throughout our society.  The enemy has many, many women and the flesh deceived.  It is similar to Genesis when Eve bit the apple in the Garden of Eden.

#Genesis 3:4 "The serpent said to the woman, "You surely will not die!"

As you all know, she disobeyed God and committed the sin anyway.

Jesus is the Lover of our souls and then, (if) you are married, your husband is your one and only love.

For the past 2 days, I have listened to Family Life Today with Christian Authors Dannah K. Gresh and Juli Slattery talk about their new book, Pulling Back the Shades.  They both have a heart for God and a heart for women.  They prayed and prayed and then published this book to counter the subtle enticement of the Fifty Shades of Grey, the deep deception, hidden sin and unmet desires that this book is stirring up in women.

If you are vulnerable and longing for something, this book will convince you that you can have it "outside of God's will."  If your faith is not strong, you will most likely be seduced into wanting "something" that will never be quite satisfied.  ONLY Sweet Jesus can fulfill all of our longings and love us unconditionally.

Here is their perspective on the book:

Christian women don't have to choose between being sexual and spiritual. They have legitimate longings that the Church has been afraid to talk about, and books like Fifty Shades of Grey exploit. Whether you are single or married, sexually dead or just looking to revive your sex life, Pulling Back the Shades will address your desire to be both sexual AND spiritual. With solid Biblical teaching and transparent stories, trusted authors Dannah Gresh  and Dr. Juli Slattery, offer an unflinching look at the most personal questions women ask. The book offers practical advice for women to address five core longings:
  • to be cherished by a man
  • to be protected by a strong man
  • to rescue a man
  • to be sexually alive
  • to escape reality
God designed women with these longings and has a plan to satisfy them. It's time for women to identify their intimate longings and God-honoring ways to fulfill them.

Sisters, please don't entertain the thoughts or the movie; this is the enemy at work in our lives.  A fantasy is not real life and going out in search of it will only sow seeds that will reap many regrets in the future.

I had to share this because we are in the fight of our lives when it comes to purity, staying married, building strong families and being faithful to the One who Created us and Died for us.  If you are single, please wait on God.  He is the only one who wants the best for you and He will not send you an imitation or counterfeit, He will send you the real thing....if you wait patiently for Him.  Psalm 37:7.

I love you and I hope that this e-mail did not offend you.

Lord, again, please cover "us" in the area of our weaknesses and the enemies lies. In Jesus' precious name, amen!

Eternally yours
