A Simple Thank You

Good morning and thank you.

Yes, a simple thank you for being God.  It sounds so simplistic when I say it to myself but it's how I feel.  I'm so comforted by that fact.  I just keep thinking about your goodness.  I was listening to a song this morning about the blood of the lamb.  I don't think we truly realized that those of us who are saved were actually going to hell had we died before receiving salvation.

I'll never forget when I read the Book of Revelation.  It brought me to the ugly cry.  I cried for your death on the cross and the fact that you loved me that much and then I cried even more so for those who don't yet know you, for those who reject you and those who refuse to believe that you even exist.

Lord, please delay in your coming until [they] BELIEVE!

PLEASE FATHER.............................

As much as I long to leave this place and come home with you, please wait until hearts are changed, soften and turned toward your HOLY name; crying out desperately, humbly, wholeheartedly proclaiming you as LORD and KING!

In Jesus' name, this is my fervent prayer!

Lord, a very special thank you for yesterday's grace.  I just love being in your house and in the presence of your Saints.  Hands and feet, ears and hearts....we are here ready to serve you.  Father, thank you for all the precious women, your precious and beloved daughters who are willing and excited about participating in the Ladies Retreat.  Thank you that we are doing it for one reason and one reason only and that is to GLORIFY and MAGNIFY your name and to reach the lost and the broken hearted.  We need you My Lord, and we cannot do this "thing" called life without you.

We are expecting great things from you because you are a GREAT GOD, hence the Great I Am!  Yes, you are He and we welcome your presence in our lives.  Yes, we do!

I love you and I thank you so much that my life is filled with your presence and your peace.  Yesterday was so peaceful as I was reading one of my favorite books and reflecting on my life.  You are so good to those you love and to those who love and obey you.  Father you are even good to us when we don't obey you.  Pause: Hence my life before I called you Lord.  I always say that I was in the wilderness longer than Moses and you #still loved me and provided my every need.  Only I had no clue.....none whatsoever.  Oh what grace!

I love quiet moments where I get to be still and read.  I love when I'm inbetween the pages of something and it feels as if you and I are having dialouge.  It feels so personal and so real.  So many things just continue to come to light for me and I get a deeper understanding of myself, your love for me and how you have always wanted the best for me and all of your children.

When we are hurt, broken, abused, discarded, unaware, alone, heavy laden, etc....we simply cannot see the one who cares for us unlike anyone else.   In those moments, we are desperately grasping for anything within arms reach not knowing that YOU are the ONLY ONE that can heal us.

Thank you Father for being my Redeemer, my Stronghold, my Fortress, my Rock and my Savior.

Prayer:  Ladies Retreat and as well as the many health needs within our church, my family and friends.  Father bring your healing power as only you can.  Help us to trust in you and not man.  Your word says that by your wounds, we have been healed.  I #believe it!

Eternally yours
