The Ability To Read

My Lord,

Thank you for gifting myself, T and the grangirls with the ability to read.  Yesterday we were at the library and it was big beautiful and bright.  All of our eyes were lit up with the possibilities and choices.  This particular one even has free lunch for the kids during the summer months.  Grace, nothing but grace!

Thank you for the butterfly that was fluttering around outside and thank you for the purple flowers that were there amongst the weeds and dirt.  A special thank you for allowing my path to cross with Robinson's.  I was able to gift him with my second book and pass along my number in hopes that his wife would like to meet and fellowship.  The love you and I am open to having them over for conversation and praise and worship :-)

Anything for you My Lord :-)

Thank you for the yummy food that Alex told me about.  I can't go everyday or my juice journey would surely have been in vain, but man oh man...those hush puppies are delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for my "nap."  My Lord, please help me to discover why I get such tired eyes and my body wants to shut completely down.  The doctor said that it could be apart of the menopause but I don't feel 50 :-(

My Spirit is so youthful and I don't want to have to come home and crash everyday as the time just ticks away.  I feel guilty and I want to be of use to you.  I know that rest is a gift from you but I feel like I'm sleeping precious time away.

I love you and I trust you as I wait to see what you reveal regarding this issue.

I love you....I know I just said that but it's so very true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Prayers:  A dear friend passed on from our bible group and I would ask that you would comfort his family as only you can and that you would be the strength that they need during their time of loss and sorrow.

Father, I read this last night during my quiet time with you and I want to say, "thank you" for continuing to reveal yourself to me...
"We know that all things work together for good to them that love God." The Christian does not merely hold this as a theory, but he knows it as a matter of fact. The believer can in the spirit of true resignation pray, "Send me what thou wilt, my God, so long as it comes from thee; never came there an ill portion from thy table to any of thy children."
-Charles Spurgeon

Another thank you for the butterfly gift that awaited me my at my door yesterday: Ginormous GIFT!
Eternally yours
