My Lord,
I love you. This is King David's prayer but I have adopted it as my own. I've asked you this before but it still remains my heartfelt question:
2 Samuel 7:18..."Who am I, Sovereign Lord, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?..."
Jesus, I sin, I make mistakes, I have failed time and time again, I boast, I hoard, and I am certain that I will continue to do so. However, my heart is yours and I place my life in your hands asking that you continue with your plans for me. To mold me into your image that my life and my light may only reflect YOU.
Search my heart, check my motives and reveal any hidden sin so that I may confess and be cleansed. I long to be a holy and righteous servant of the King and without your grace...moment by moment, day after day, I will simply fall short of my life's purpose.
Hold me accountable and discipline me with your unending love. I am your clay and I wholeheartedly submit to you.
I love you and I need you My Lord.

And please, show me where I can meet the need of someone and that in doing so, they would see You.
