Thank you for the protection, fun, food, grace, presence, fellowship and laughter that you gave to me and my family as we traveled to and from Jamaica. It was an awesome vacation and a long overdue season of connecting. I am so grateful that you provided this opportunity for me to get closer to my loved ones. I love you and I'm humbled by your continued favor in my life and the lives of my beloved sisters, children, parents and nieces and nephews. Your grace abounds....
I am grateful that you and I are taking a journey through the book of proverbs. Learning so much about you and myself and I'm only in chapter 4. Thank you for Ruth's heart in asking me to join her. Thank you that T is coming along also. Thank you for the gift you've given her to nourish the children in her community. She held her first summer bible study and there were 7 students. Father, I'm praying that you will use her and this time in a mighty way and that you will exchange her nervousness for confidence and that the children will go home and shine the light in the presence of their parents, siblings and neighbors.
God you are a mighty God and I am confident that this is just the beginning for her. She longs to serve you and has not felt the courage or confidence to move in any specific direction so I thank you from the bottom of my heart that she is doing this study. I pray for the kids, my gran-girls and the lesson plan. I pray that it will all bring glory and honor to you and that a soul is saved as a result.
I love you for bringing me and my family home from Jamaica and I pray that you will continue the plans that you have for me and my sisters. I am sorry that Pochie was unable to join us but I see your hand at work in her life and I just love how you redirected the life of my nephew and his family. I pray continued protection over the lives of Samone, Diamond and Sierra. I pray for Anita and Aaron and the plans that you have for them. I pray for favor and protection for AJ and his brother DJ. Lord you know all the needs, you know the weaknesses and you know the heart's of everyone that I've mentioned. Father, please have your way in their lives and bring forth your purpose and your will.
I pray for Dotty, Robin and Rosa's health and also for Jim's brother. Lord, please assist the doctor's, health care providers and the family in ways to comfort and minister to my beloved friends as only you can.
Lord, I pray for safe travels for Melanie and Mark, Ruth and Kathy's son as they are traveling. Lord, I especially thank you that I can come to your for prayers and that you not only hear, but Father you deeply care for those you love. Your love for us is evident and I have never felt such a comfort, peace and assurance before my salvation. Your loving arms are wrapped around me in the midst of my day to day living and I am continually reminded that you chose me and I am yours. Help me to live my best life for you and not for any selfish reasons and not out of any obligation, but simply because I love you and I am your beloved Princess Bride.
