My Lord,
"There are many, many things that I do not understand, but I will put my trust in you."
The above statement became my mantra about 2 years ago and I have not wavered from it. As my son and I were speaking last night, he shared some concerns about my upcoming move. He was so sweet and yet so serious. He listed them one by one. And ended with, "I know you're a cop but at the end of the day, you're still my mom."
Now it doesn't get any sweeter than that! Not including my quiet time with Jesus of course. :-)
I completely understand how he feels as I am one to weigh my options (again and again). However, feeling safe is a comfort and assurance that comes from the Lord. Putting my trust in Him to keep his promise to me is #all the hope I have. Psalm 23 has carried me to this point, I cannot imagine things changing just because my address soon will.
I am highly favored!! God has plans for me that (to me) he has yet to reveal. And like my son said, "I'm a cop!" Lol
Be still and know that He IS GOD! Psalm 46:10
Fear is the friend of the enemy! And I am no friend of his!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to share this as I will be printing part two of this blog shortly! Thanks google for allowing me to journey my life with Jesus and to turn it into a book! Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I sent the below text to my sweet son Alex! :-)
Eternally yours
