Quiet Tears

My Lord,

I love how you intervene, ever so slightly.

I was just going to have a quiet ride this morning.  Just breathing, reflecting and basking in your presence.  I was not going to have any radio, any music or any news, news and more news.  No, not today.

However, the Holy Spirit gently nudged me to turn to Focus on The Family.  I listened to a woman named Judy Reamer give her testimony.  Wow!  So subtle, so touching, so powerfully packed with many (God is so real) moments toward the end.  I love how she kept saying, "How big is God?"

That's going to be my new saying!  Starting today, I'm going to share it with everyone!  Not that I don't already share Jesus, but-WOW!  God you are SO #BIG!!!!!

What struck me the most was her complete honesty about her family's reaction concerning her new found gift of  #Salvation because she was a Jew.  Her parents were angry and many family members and friends disassociated themselves from her.

Her response made me cry!  She said, "What did I do? God came after me."
I began to cry.  It #really hit me that I didn't do anything either.  I was minding my own business and God came after me.  Not just on May 4, 2008, when I was sitting in my family room, but way before that sunny day in Waldorf, Maryland.  God You were wooing me and I had no idea that your love was so powerful, so amazing and so intentional.

WOW!  Thank you Jesus for loving on me the way that you do.

Father, thank you for bible study last night.  I was sitting in the parking lot because I'd gotten there early and I saw a dad brushing his daughter's hair, (2 of them).  It was such a kind, simple and loving act.  I pray that they will never forget those moments.  I don't have any little girl daddy moments and that just so captured my heart to see.

However, I do have #big girl daddy moments and My Lord, I thank you for those.  I will be seeing my dad next month and I can't wait to sit on his sofa as he channel surfs with the TV really loud. Lol

We always have the best visits and their never really action packed.  It's just about the food and the love and the food and more love!  It used to be about the coffee, but you delivered me from that addiction!  YAY!

Thank you for my fellowship with Jackie #2, Missy, Courtney, Lisa and Janet.  Thank you that my Secret Sister is so loving on me and gives me that best cards.  Each card is tailored made for me and I can't stop smiling and reading them. (SHE Rocks)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for the free boxes and the excitement I'm feeling about my upcoming move.  Thank you that I'll be having some (you time) with Anna and Susie real soon.  Thank you that my parents text me.  Thank you that my sisters and I were crazy texting yesterday about our upcoming Jamaica trip.  So happy and so grateful.  Thanking you in advance for an awesome time!!!!!!!

Thank you that Friday is my day to pack and there's nothing on my to-list.  Thank you that Saturday I get to go to Summer's & Tessah's soccer game and I get to see the entire Jesus loving Dobry family!  Epiphany, I get to ride past "Roy Roger's!"  Lol (That's Kim's - my baby sister's) happy place :-)

Thank you that I am available to attend Samone's graduation from Maryland University.  She will be getting her Master's Degree and her parents, my sister and her brother are all out of town.  I'm so very proud of her!  So proud!

Father, there are many, many health concerns being petitioned on our SS list and I pray with my whole heart that you would hear them and answer them.  My Lord, I know that you do and that you will, but I still love to ask you from my heart to yours to give an ear to those needs and concerns and console, comfort and do the loving things that you do when we cry out to you.  Jesus, we need you today and everyday!
Eternally yours
