My Lord,

Thank you that I can read the bible and find peace.  I find truth and I find countless promises, which comforts me beyond anything I can ever describe.

1st John 3:8
But when people keep on sinning, it shows they belong to the devil.

1st John 2:28
...And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and NOT shrink back from him in shame.

FATHER, keep me in your protective care and away from the evil one.  I do NOT want to shame you here on earth or when I meet with you face to face.

In Your Son's precious name.  This is my fervent prayer.  Amen.
