My Lord,

I am so grateful to you.  YOU have done mighty things in my life and in my heart.  I used to be so caught up with self and "relationships" that for many years you were not my first priority and sad to say...YOU were not my first love.

YOU are now, and I would not trade what we have for anything or anyone in this world.  My love for you is eternal as is your gift to me.

Revelation 2:1-5

"I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance.  I know that you can not tolerate wicked men, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false.  You have preserved and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.  Yet I hold this against you:  You have forsaken your first love.  Remember the height from which you have fallen:  Repent and do the things you did at first.  If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.

Life Application:  What do you LOVE?  What in your life has taken the place of Jesus, your first love?

Father, I am thankful that nothing comes before my love for you.  Please Father, keep my heart sealed.
