My Lord,
Thank you for today. Thank you for the worship this morning and the guest speaker, Alfredo. He spoke about the missionaries and I had to say a special prayer of repentance and gratitude. Oftentimes, we get caught up in our lives and ourselves that we forget the sacrifice that countless others make to go out and Proclaim your GOOD NEWS.
Although in our day to day lives, we are in the Mission Field, help me to be more aware of how I live my life; my actions, my walk and my speech. Let not my behavior shame the Gospel and deter someone from wanting to seek a relationship with you. I pray that as I move about in the world, I am displaying your continuous light and love and that someone, anyone, would want to know why I shine so brightly. Not that I don't openly talk about you and all your goodness to me, but if there comes a time where I'm distracted or involved in self, touch me in a way to bring my focus back to you. Because, after all, my life's mantra is, This Life Is Not About Me!
Lord, I praise your holy name and poor out my deepest gratitude to your faithfulness and abundant love toward me. I love you deeply. Truly I do.
By the way, thank you for an awesome weekend. Friday was so very delightful, from sun up till sun down. Specifically, the dinner I shared with an old friend. And on Saturday, hanging out with new friends made my heart overflow with laughter. We literally laughed the entire night.
And in closing, I'd like to lift a dear friend up in prayer. She is going through a divorce and Lord, she needs you. Satan is attacking the family and I pray that she finds rest in your perfect peace as I did when I experienced the ending of my marriage.
Eternally yours
