My Lord,
The blueness has worn off and if I had to choose a color today, I'd choose the color purple. Passionate and full of gratitude. Church was awesome last night and the prayer in the parking lot with my sister-friend was just what I needed. I know that this life is not about me and I am grateful to you my Lord, for the reminder.
I need to find a place for my heart to volunteer. I donate your talents to many charities, but I long to feel the connection to people; real hearts and souls. I need fellowship; a place to magnify you. Yes, the Church is an incredible and safe place to feel love and your mighty presence, but I am longing for another place (outside of work). Prayerfully, a place where your word and name isn't the norm. Lord, direct my path, resources and skills to that special place where not only my spirit will be deeply fed and challenged, but that I may glorify your name and mighty power in a way unlike man is capable of in his own flesh.
Also, I owe you a special thank you. I took a chance at something new and as a result, we are now studying the life of Daniel in our Wenesday night Bible Study. The first night alone was powerful and thought provoking.
Eternally yours
