My Lord,
I am grateful beyond words for the work that you have done in my heart and in my life. I have purposed myself to read your word and to study your truth. I know that it is impossible to truly know you , but I will not get stuck in the "why do bad things happen?" when I know that you are a GOOD GOD! I will sit at your feet in the midst of life's trials. I will not abandon you.
<>< I have been crying and praying over the past couple of weeks for many, many things. People that you love and care for are hurting. The mass have stated that they are experiencing some type of spiritual war. GOD YOU are bigger than THAT!
<>< Your word tells me that and I have seen it for myself. I have not experienced a spiritual battle, but I have not seen anywhere in your word where you were NOT there for your people. YOU REDEEMED JOB and many others. YOU went before us to prepare a way/the way and we will join you when this life's journey is over.
<>< Yes, for some of us, it will be over sooner than we would "like" but that does not mean that we are alone in our transition and it does not mean that our destination changes at the conclusion. YOU have promised those that love you that we will see YOUR FACE and FATHER, I BELIEVE YOU!
<>< Some that I love have died from cancer and other illnesses. Some that I know are dying from cancer. I've heard testimonies on WAVA about ALS, I've heard testimonies about couples who have lost their children, and we continually hear that today, many, many Christians are still be persecuted. LIFE is not easy, it is not pain free and it is not a special pain free path set out "just for believers." We are all apart of your BIG Plan and your will will be done in our lives, even if we don't agree and even if we refuse to submit.
<>< YOUR word says that all of our days were planned before one of them came to be and in that promise, you have promised never to leave us nor forsake us. My Lord, I don't understand a lot of "things" BUT I WILL TRUST YOU!
<>< In our heartache, despair, weakness, refusal to accept truth, anguish and uncertainties...YOU ARE THERE!
<>< Father, many are suffering through sins that they have committed and unaware that you can still turn those moments into joy and use them for your glory. They are so caught up in their pain and their "woe is me" that they are lacking the knowledge that you care and that you are there. REMIND THEM LORD JESUS!
<>< Many are heart broken because their plans failed, their marriages failed, their children have turned away from you, their homes and jobs have been lost, their prayers were not answered and the list goes on. So Father, in those moments, PLEASE remind us that you are there. You know our frailties and our flesh are so weak and so vulnerable in those moments and we tend to forget, We began to lean on our own understanding and NOT draw immediately to YOU! REMIND US LORD JESUS THAT YOU ARE THERE!
<><HELP me to remain strong in my faith and continue to develop my faith as I continue to seek your word and not just gloss over it, but to go deeper in my knowledge of you and my pursuit of your truth and your great love for me! REMIND ME O LORD THAT YOU ARE THERE!
<>< I want to walk with you and hold your hand more than anything else in this entire world. And not only that, I want to cling to a truth that you revealed to me last Wednesday through a Proverbs 31 Ministry devotion that read: "I will not be afraid for my children because they belong to you and you love them more than I do." No, I will not be afraid!
<>< In your loving arms is where I will find my hope, my strength, my peace and your LOVE!
