I've been talking a lot about how BIG YOU ARE! I prayed a #ginormous prayer. I'm telling everyone to do the same!
Yesterday, Dr. Stanley's sermon was part 2 on "FEARING THE LORD!" He used many scripture references and talked about how you long to bless us when we not only fear you, but obey you!
"The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them." (Psalm 145:18-19 ESV)
FATHER, my life is #proof. I'm in the midst of eating lunch and I'm looking across the bay seeing nothing but water and YOU! I held back the tears because I had grease on my fingers from my yummy fried chicken. I've been here for 3 years and I still cry.
After I ate, I sat down and sat still and wrote this:
"Sitting in my chair. Listening to praise songs. Looking across the bay. Jesus brought me here. Jesus bought me!"
I love you!
PS. My dad sent me a simple but profound, sweet text on Monday. My Lord, what are you trying to tell me?
