Weekend Overview

My Lord,

Thank you for Thursday and the ability to have sick leave.  My finger has been bothering me for quite sometime so I finally went to have x-rays.  I'm hoping it's not arthritis, but whatever the issue...I'm counting it all joy.  Although, it's hard to snap my fingers, I can still clap and praise you :-)

Thursday bible study has started up again and I'm so excited to see how you're going to reveal yourself to me.  I'm enjoying the first week already, even though it's only been a couple of days, I'm on chapter 3.  Father, please help to keep me focused.  I took a "break" from our small group just so that I can meditate on your word, complete all of my homework and be in the moments with you.  I don't want to rush it along just to get the work done and I don't want to miss what it is that you have to tell me and show me.

Friday was a so "serendipity" day.  I slept in and when I finally opened my sleepy eyes, I was deciding on what to do with my day and what to have for breakfast.  And lo' and behold...Jackie #1 called.  She and Jackie #2 were going on a road trip to VA (lol) and invited me along.  How cool that they were thinking of me.  I jumped out of bed, brushed my teeth, put on some clothes and met them at the church.  I jumped out of my car and into Jackie's van.  It was so cool not having to drive!  Yes, my kinda day!

It was awesome to hang out with them, even though I was exhausted by 5pm. Lol
Those girls have so much energy!  I was a bit ashamed. :-)
We had a nice lunch, a long walk in the woods and an awesome time in fellowship from beginning to end!

Saturday was my day to spend with you!  Yes, my kind of day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My other sister, Jackie came over to see me and talk about something very important.  Father, please be with her and give her your profound wisdom and grace.  She needs you in a big way and I pray that the Spirit will be her guide and that you will wrap your loving arms around her and that she would know that you are there.  Speak to her as only you can and let it be clear, compassionate and filled with your wisdom.  Remind her that you chose her and that with your love, there is no condemnation.

Sunday was awesome from sun up to sun down.  I was the greeter for our Church's 30th Anniversary service.  We had an amazing time praising you for two hours.  I could have stayed there all day lifting up my hands to you in worship.  YOU are so GOOD to your people and I pray that my life of obedience is pleasing to your My Lord.  I just love how our church is such a tight knit family and how the prayers and love never cease.  Continue to strengthen us in your word, in your truth and keeping us in the palm of your hands.

Please be with Pastor Wagner as he is transistioning into retirement and at the same time, preparing our hearts for our new Shepherd that you have chosen and anointed long ago.

Thank you for an awesome picnic at Campt Letts.  The lake view, food, fun, fellowship, memories, laughter and smiles were like having a family reunion.  Lord, we love you so much and we give you all the praise.  You didn't have to choose us and you don't have to love and protect us.  In spite of our inperfections, and in spite of our disobedience....YOU remain faithful.

YOUR GRACE ABOUNDS!

Thank you for being My God.

Thank you for loving my children and my grandchildren.  Thank you for the great things that you have planned for their lives and thank you that in spite of all the evil, death, destruction and madness going on around us...YOU are still GOD and YOU still care.  Thank you that YOURE plans have not changed, YOU are still returning for those that are Yours and I am so thankful that I am your beloved daughter.

Prayers:  My new friend and sister in Christ, Denise, her husband Mark as they are traveling, her son, KW, Robin, Arlene, Lesley, Jackie, Angie, Marty, Anita, and my beloved grangirls as they travel to and from school.

Eternally yours
