My Lord,
I must thank you! I was so sleepy behind the wheel yesterday and you drove me home. You got me there safe and sound. I remember opening my eyes and being within a foot or so from the other side of the traffic. Your grace abounds...and surely you have plans for me. I cannot wait to see what they are and I only pray that I can make you proud of me in fulfilling them.
Thank you for the Book of Proverbs. I'm reading it with fresh eyes and an open mind and heart. I'm really seeing and understanding more and more of who you are and how much you care for your children. Wanting the best for us is indeed your heart's desire. I cry just thinking of that...exhale.....so grateful!
Thank you for allowing me to do little things like painting my furniture, making fresh juice, eating the foods that make my tummy happy, taking naps, renting free movies from the library, sitting by the window and listening to the waves and the bird's song, allowing me to organize my stuff, wash clothes inside my unit, take the trash to the nearby dumpster, refill my prescription, take a hot shower, make and send out greeting cards, listen to my favorite songs, write out prayer request, write in my journal, write poetry, read poetry, talk on the phone with my friends, text my friends, fellowship with many, many people, taking photos, watch the sunset, watch the sky change colors and the clouds take formation...and so much more. Lord, you do love me and I can feel it each and every day. Not because of what you've given me, but because my heart has never felt such rest, such peace and such assurance. There is an assurance in me that knows without a doubt that you are coming back for me and that this place...this earth is not my final resting place. As much as I love living in North Beach, it is not my home.
I love you and once again, thank you for being there for me---your beloved Princess Bride!
Prayers: Theresa, Robin, JT, J'Ann, Banks family, Teneisha, Burl kids, Allen family, Baisey family, Ford family, Rodgers family, Washington family, Seals family, Davis family, Davis family, Black family, Grace Brethren, Westshore Church, Cross County Baptist, Glenarden Baptist, Bay Area Community, and so many more. Father, you know all the needs of those that I've mention here. Please, My Lord, bless them as only you can and meet the needs according to your perfect and precious will. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
Eternally yours
