Your Constant Presence

My Lord,

Good morning and thank you.

I was talking with you last night about something #significant and today, this prayer came in my daily e-mail devotion:

Today's Prayer
Dear God, Opportunities abound. Please help me to discern when an opportunity is something You have placed before me and when it is something that would be contrary to Your will. Stir my conscience and bring questions, examples, and Scripture to my mind that will guide me in this process. Help me to consider biblical values; ethics; the gifts, skills, and abilities You have given me; my family and other commitments; and anything else they may open my eyes to the truth. Encourage me to grasp the opportunities You give and to turn from the opportunities that I should not touch. Thank You, God, for Your hands of guidance and Your arms of love. In Jesus' name, amen.

Jesus, my big sister is praying for me and my heart is overjoyed! #Truly :-)

FATHER, I love you and I thank you for your constant presence in my day to day life, and the lives of my family.  Not only that, I wholeheartedly thank you (personally) for sharing your word with me and for desiring to spend quality time with me.  I am enjoying the T's of the bible.  I finished Thessalonians and now I'm reading 1 Timothy.  I love that I can read your word again and again and still find it fresh to my ears, my eyes and my heart.  There are rarely moments when I read it and am not compelled to share.  Just yesterday, Bridget, Nikki, Genna and Helen thanked me.  Many thank me for being (Barnabas) and I am quick to say that it is indeed your Spirit that provokes me to share, and it's certainly nothing that Denise does in her own will.

Denise would love to stay in bed, wearing her pjs while wrapped in several down comforters.  But, because I love you and because you #Saved me, I will do my best to live for you and to share my life with those that you've placed in my heart, along my life's pathway and even better, those who you will be sending my way because you want me to share the Good News!

Father, speaking of Good News, I want to continue lifting up the Women of Faith Conference to you and our Annual Women's Retreat!  So many women are worn, exhausted, fatigued and searching for peace, stillness and acceptance.  So many women are still trying to do *it* in their own will and I pray that during these events, your MIGHTY PRESENCE will confirm and assure them that You are the Helper and the Rest that they need.  If we fail to take that time away from the world and sit at your feet, we are spinning our wheels and not accomplishing much at all.  It may look really busy and feel as if things are coming together, when in all actuality, things are falling apart behind the scenes and our insides are dying for someone to step in and give some relief.  YOU are that #Someone and I know that because I am speaking from pure experience!  I love you!

Lord, I had an epiphany and I'm excited to start a new ministry when I move and get settled in.  Starting with the Ermold family! :-)

M. O. M. - Regenna, Sierra, Kim & Brittany, and T. :-)

All because of you!

Eternally yours
