My Lord,
I'm so excited and so proud!
Yesterday was my biggest challenge. We had an office luncheon for Dennis as he is retiring soon and it was so very nice. His family was so honored and we will surely miss him. It was so great seeing a lot of our old timers...George, Gary, Stan, James, Oh, Montanez, Dexter, Elliot, Chanel...nothing but love. This brother and sister in #blue thing is for real. Once a cop, always a brother!!!
There was so much food...yummy, yummy food-and I didn't eat one single thing!
Not only that. It was our team's turn to cook in the kitchen and Jackie makes everything in a "Wow Factor!" She made ribs and a loaded baked potato. There were cookies, cupcakes, pudding, brownies, buttered rolls, and more of the same. I iced the cupcakes and did not lick my fingers. I served the ribs until they were gone and did not lick the bar-b-que sauce from my hands. I did not do any of that because I prayed and you answered. Even though they left me in the kitchen with all that "stuff" I did not go back on my word.
I love you for your grace and support. I am so proud that I have come this far and have not eaten anything since February 28th! I've never been so committed to taking better care of myself and so many are inspired and so willing to at least give it a try. What a #transformation!"
I pray this will help me on a much deeper level to commit to making really healthy choices and to continue to plan my meals and not wait until the last minute to eat, which causes poor choices. I'm so excited about making my own mayo, salad dressings, and trail mix. I'm so excited to plan meals and prepare for my future toward retirement. You've given me one of the best gifts I never knew I wanted. This healthy version of me and so awe inspiring to #me! Looking at myself in the mirror is an amazing thing to see and I am so smiling because I put in the work and discipline and you helped me to see it through, each and every day. There are still 23 more days #BUT with YOU, I Can!
All my love-all the time!
Eternally yours
