Because you Love me so much and because you did not want me to give up my dreams, last night I walked along the seashore. Lord, because of you, I live near the ocean's floor.
With your GRACE and MERCY, I wrote the below poem in February of 2011, while visiting my dad in Ohio. You moved me to the beach in July and allowed me to self publish my first book on August 23, 2011. The below poem is included my book. I created my own footprints and had them framed side by side. The photo hangs in my foyer for me to see each time I come "home." How sweet the sound.
Dream No More
If I could no longer walk
barefoot in the sand
No longer walk along
the salty seashore
If I could no longer dream
to one day live near
the ocean’s floor
Then I surrender my pen
to you because I can
dream no more
Eternally grateful, eternally yours
