My Lord,
Good morning. Wow. The sun and the clouds are amazing. It reminds me of Romans 1:20. This view alone is proof of your presence. MAN could not possibly create such a magnificent piece of art. He can only take a photo, as I have done, time and time again, but he simply cannot duplicate it. You are God.
You are the Lord of my life. The one who prepared this day for me as I slept last night in the comfort that you've provided me. Lord, just to wake up this morning in my pjs, heat on and numerous blankets, humbles me. It was at least 26 degrees when I left out this morning.
This week we are housing and feeding the homeless at Church and to know that those souls had a warm meal and cot make my heart rejoice. I truly pray that each of us would see them for who they are. Children of the most high God. People who have the same need that we do. The need to have a roof over their heads, clothing, meals and not only love, but acceptance. We need not look the other way, for we are all close to becoming one of "them" at your will.
Your word says that it is our responsibility to give to the poor, just as if we are giving to you. And Lord, by your grace and mercy, I had received much more than I deserve. How can I live in the comforts you've afforded me and not help my fellow brother or sister? I cannot.
Eternally yours
